The Cannondale MT4000 is a tandem/mountain bike with an aluminum T6 frame. The frame comes in Team  Blue or Fire  Mountain  Fade.

It was first released in 2000 and again in 2001. Due to the size and frame materials, we estimate that this bike weighs around 40 pounds. The MT4000 has fork suspension with 4in travel.

Components

The MT4000 comes with various tandem bike components, including an aluminum Syntace VRO stem, a threadless Cane Creek C2 headset and Shimano XTR RapidFire SL shifters.

Drivetrain

The MT4000 has 9 speeds and has a Shimano XTR derailleur.

Wheels

It comes with Continental Explorer Pro Hutchinson Alligator tires (26in x 2.1in) and Mavic D521 rims.
