The Trek Slash 9.8 is a full-suspension mountain bike with a carbon, aluminum and magnesium OCLV Mountain / ABP / EVO frame. The frame has a  Phantom  Carbon  /  Volt  Green finish.

It was first released in 2015 and again in 2016. Due to the frame materials, we estimate that this bike weighs around 25 pounds.

Components

The Slash 9.8 comes with SRAM X1 components, including a Bontrager Rhythm Pro stem, a carbon, aluminum, sealed, FSA IS-2, Cane Creek IS-3 E2 headset and SRAM X1 shifters.

Drivetrain

The Slash 9.8 has 11 speeds and has SRAM rear cogs.

Wheels

It comes with Bontrager XR4 Expert tires (27.5in x 2.35in) and Stacked Lacing rims.
